The photo contest is held to encourage people to take new photos with the topic in mind. As a result, please do not submit any photos taken before the contest topic was announced (see contest rules regarding EXIF data). Photos posted to this thread do not count. You must upload photos to the monthly photo contest gallery in order to be entered.

Oh no - not animals!!
I've just moved back into the suburbs from a rural area, so animals are going to be a bit harder to come by now. Still - it's a good excuse for a country drive.
Could have taken a great shot a couple of weeks back. On a clubMINI run, we came across a roo right on the edge of the road and it just stayed there while we all drove (carefully) past. I've never seen one stay put like that. Could have parked right beside it and set up a neat photo. (I wonder if it's still there?...
)
