DRIVING LIGHTS

I just bought LED Bulbs for my driving lights. I managed to remove the turn single which was simple but when it came to actually taking out the bulb for the light, i found it near impossible. It seemed as if i had to remove the fixture. Any ideas?

It is done most easily if you remove the bumper skin first. Then it's a snap.

ummmmm????? You mean you want to change the white bulb in the parking light / turn signal?

Driving lights are the add ons that sit in front of the grill {and I'd have no idea why one would but LEDs in there . . .}

the parking light bulb fixture CAN be removed but it is often stuck REALLY tight. Try to find a friend with small hands but a strong grip to help then a quarter turn should pop it loose. Put a little silicone grease on there b4 you replace to make it easier next time.

I've got my wheel arch lights, turn signals, and parking lights all replaced with white LEDs. With the halo headlights and halo driving lights, and white LEDs behind the sidemarker grill, the white LED combo is out right sexy at night.

The bulb's plastic socket needs to be twisted 1/4 turn before removing from the housing. It can be done with med-large size hands w/o removing bumper.

It's hard dude. Keep working with it. Kind of wiggle as you turn to help break it free. Like Raven said, it only takes a 1/4 of a turn so just keep trying. Once you break it free, take the Captain's advice and use silicone grease on it.

Take off the bumper skin. A few screws and 90 seconds of your time. Then the light is a snap. You'll have it done in less time than it takes to respond to me.

I'm referring to the rubber body part that covers the honeycombed bumper and frame. The marker and running lights are mounted onto this skin.
