So I was thinking, we haven't had any real events this month and I wanted to start a little tradition of my own.

So, enter my MINI take on "Cars and Coffee" (I hope this hasn't been done yet). I figure we'll start up a quarterly event where we meet at some sort of coffee shop, hang out, and then do an improv ride. If it's successful then we'll start doing this every quarter and see how it goes.

I know a lot of us are comming down with serious cabin fever and this would be a good way to relieve it, at least temporarily.

So, what does everyone think? We can meet at the Duffy Roll Cafe/Starbucks map at 8:00 enjoy some coffee and rolls and then go on a ride.

 

Good idea, Sat AM, 8? Let's see I would have to be up at 6 to get on the road at 7 to make 8? Hummmmm.

With MINI friends, it's possible.

How about 1PM?

 

I'm in but not a mocha. Give me a double espresso or give me death.

 

We can make it later. I was just throwing ideas out there.

Changed my mind, sorry to anyone that's keeping up with this during the day.

We will still be having this at 8 but I'm sure we'll be there for a bit Don if you want to come a little later.

Good idea to have a Double Mocha Espresso anytime of the day.

 

Oh Don, you're retired, so just go to bed a bit earlier the night before. You'll be ready for an early start, right? Get be there by 8:00 and I'll buy your cup of choice!

I was wondering when someone would point that out to me.

I plan on being there at least by 8:15. A lot of folks got up early for Cino's.

 

I am going to try and make this. I am new to the area and would love to get involved with a new club.

 

I'm not sure if "A Giant Sucking Vortex" is very close but you're more then welcome to drive from there to here!

Hi everyone
Just got home from the run. It was great to meet so many great new faces. Now if I could only remember everyones names, but that will come with time. We (Charlie, Jimmy, Andie, Larry and me) finished the run with lunch at "El Rancho". Then Larry and I took the road over Lookout mountain back to Golden. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Nice to meet all the new people (& MINIS) today. Lil' Valentino & I had a great time. Joe & I went over Squaw Pass then down to Idaho Springs. I have a couple of pictures that I will post on Facebook.

(I know hard to be in two places at one time, WP is really nice.)

 

I am a firm believer in the futility of fighting the law therefore I don't ski.
However the kids are young and dumb and relatively uninjured so they skied.
I'm sorry to have missed the coffee and the MINIs.

 

Oh and BTW Don, I've downloaded some of your photos for the next newsletter (with due credit of course). Now all I need is some one to throw a few words in an email for the article. Just the who, what, when and where would work.
