the burden of my life: Orange headlight ( quick q )

So this damn orange in the headlight has been the burden of my life. i cant figure out what to do , everyone keeps saying different stuff.
so i had a quick question

can i just change the bulb to a xenon or whatever else color i want and not have a lens? or do i need a clear lens?

and if so, which site can i get it from?

the person who answers my questions, i will thank 10000 times and virtually take them out to dinner =D
THANKS ALOT!!!!!

after this mod my MINI will finally be the complete BEAST it has been longing for

Check in the Mods: Interior/Exterior forum. There is a DIY thread on how to get rid of the orange egg yokes. I believe you have to swap lenses, but use a yellow bulb because a law requires it to flash yellow. It will look white when off, but flash yellow when on.-

No, you cannot replace it with a Xenon. No, you cannot make it a different color.

Mine are yellow, and I don't mind it. So, haven't researched it. Probably find the part number at RealOEM.com and order from ECS Tuning, or Pelican Parts.

I never understood the whole clear lens thing to begin with, I think cars look silly with clear lenses... Just my opinion...

Since you can order MINIs with "white" turn signals, clear lenses must be available somewhere.
