I have a house right up 28 from Fontana. I should have room for a couple of people so send me a PM if you need a place to stay.

 

For those of you needing a campsite...I called today and they said they had "a handful" of them. Got a site with hookups for us. Give them a call and see what you can get. I bet some people have canceled....so there are now some open.

 

When do some people start booking rooms and campsites for the Dragon?

 

Have had mine booked for a month now, off topic how many are going from KC area and when are you planning on departing, would like to join a group headed east if possable..

 

I haven't heard of anyone going from KC yet but I'll ask on the club site and see.... I'm not going to be able to make it to the Dragon this year.

 

If I remember correctly, they opened reservations either right at the end the current MOTD or during the week after it ended.

I think the couple we are sharing a cabin with got their reservations the end of June last year.

I just booked at the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort for $59 a night. Its 15 mins from Fontana and pretty much right at the Dragon from what I can tell.

We rented the entire resort for our wedding last October. We got married there, and we're good friends with the owner and manager.

 

I should have room for a couple if you're interested. Staying right past Fontana on 28

 

FYI: We're from SE Missouri and will be leaving Tuesday afternoon with an overnight stop in Nashville, arriving early-midafternoon Wednesday if you want to try to meet up somewhere.
