Kit includes 8 - 4' strips that you apply to your existing belt line (chrome strip below windows).
Strips are adhesive backed.

yes.
is this strips of vinyl that we have to overlay ourselves? or is it a plastic backed snap on ordeal? (i'm guessing the first option, but thought id ask)

My car up top. Lyle just wrapped everything yesterday. I had the gas cap, belt line, A pillars, emblems, headlight rings, and scoop wrapped. Also had the front and rear tails tinted. His work is exceptional. I've been in the industry and modifying cars for over 20 yrs and I have to say I haven't seen better. A+++

Thanks Phil!!

Warrior - I thought that was why you had asked that. The A-pillars are not included, but are offered.

Here are some more pics of the work we did on Phil's MINI.

Looks great! Looking at that last picture, I think it would look great if you tried to wrap the fender flares with the same vinyl. Is this possible or would you run into adhesion problems with the plastic?

We have a solution for the adhesion issues with this type of plastic.
This is something that we may do with this MINI.

We have a set of wheel arch trim in stock that we can wrap and mail out as cores, but the finished product would look incomplete without the rocker panels, and front & rear bumper skirts.

Very true. It would look nice carried all the way around. This might be a good solution for people who bought an Aero kit and aren't sure about getting the front bumper part painted to match the factory black trim. Solution - paint it body color and wrap the arches/bumper portion in carbon vinyl.

Looks great, Lyle!
I tried to wrap my gas cap yesterday. FAIL!!
All I ended up with was two wasted pieces of vinyl and some toasty finger tips!

I'll be calling you soon!

Jim

Hey Lyle, this stuff looks great. Do you think you'll be doing installs at MOTD next year? Thinking beltline and rain gutters for sure.

I don't think we'll be making it out to the Dragon in '10, unless we get a huge request for installs.
I'm not sure if the rain gutter is do-able, but ya never know, I surprise myself sometimes.

Hey Lyle - I have a polished lip on my 17" AC Schnitzer wheels and I'm totally not a fan of polished lips (came from factory that way). A few years ago I bought some vinyl from some company that makes kits mainly for crotchrockets and I tried to put them on (their kit sold it in 4 semi circle strips the go on around the outer most edge. It looked pretty pathetic. Have you wrapped or provide vinyle for the rim lip?

Lagston--that Mini looks SICK (as in amazingly good!) Maybe one day I will get this done--by professionals like you. For me, it's all or nothing, though. A half-arsed job just doesn't do it.
Well done!
