We are going to get together Sunday, December 20th for a ride down Hwy 25 & then grab a bite to eat at Blackwell's Pub (great burgers).

We are meeting at the Dairy Queen in Cahaba Heights (3134 Cahaba Heights Road-Birmingham, AL 35243) at 1:30 & we will pull out at 2PM for the ride.

We will take Sicard Hollow over to Hwy 25, then u-turn & come back to Cahaba Heights the same way to grab a burger.

Cool cool, maybe I'll try to make it down there. I'm not really a Mini "owner" per se, but I'm driving one for another week. My mother and I picked up an Astro Black Metallic MCS for my dad for xmas. I'm very jealous after driving it around for a few days now!

On that note, does anyone locally happen to have a front license plate frame I could purchase? The car will be registered in Texas when I drive it back and we have to have horrible front plates on cars there

Glad to see there is a good group of Minis around though, I've always been a big fan. I see a red one "Checkm8" or something along those lines semi-regularly.

Good ride yesterday. Good weather, light traffic. Followed it up with a great meal at Blackwell's Pub. PBJ Burger w/bacon: Highly recommended.

 

It was great! Hwy 25 is actually only 5 minutes from my house and I had no idea. I'll definitely be riding that one again.

FYI, my husband said the 29 dreams place is soon to be a biker/car club and the owner is contacting car clubs in the area. Apparently one of his coworkers was there yesterday too

Thanks for the pix! You did real good on 25 for a newbie. Interesting about 29 Dreams. A friend of mine lives in the area and used to work there. I need to ask her to check this out.
