Denver Rod&Custom Show

Before or After the ride this Sunday come over and see me at the HPR/RMVR/SCCA booth at the show. Lots will be on display.

I know, I was going to drive with all of you but I put my foot in mouth and volunteered for a 6 hour shift Sunday.

Here is a cross note from Mark Robinson RMVR President and MINI5280 Member.

If you're looking for a way to escape Black Friday, or need to work off a turkey overdose, consider visiting the Rocky Mountain Rod & Custom Show this holiday weekend at the National Western Complex (I-70 & Brighton Blvd). This is a great fix for gearheads, with over 500 custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, vendors, cars for sale, and RACE CARS. RMVR has 5 assorted cars in a great looking booth with 6 SCCA cars, & 3 MRA bikes under the High Plains Raceway banner. As one part of our expanding marketing program, we're using this venue to expose road racing to the 20,000 people that are expected over the 3 days (Friday Nov. 27 (9AM-9PM) Saturday (9-9), & Sunday (9-6)). Stop by & you'll see some familiar faces handing out 2010 schedules & encouraging folks to join our ranks. I had a great turnout of workers & drivers who volunteered at the Feedback Session to work a shift (or 2 or 3!). THANK YOU to these people, & the drivers who are displaying their cars!

Admission is $15 ($3 discount coupons available at Checker/O'Reilly Auto Parts). All the surrounding parking lots do charge for parking.

Mark Robinson
RMVR President

This is a great show. I'll probably miss it this year since my dad is not putting his 31 Chevy in but I'll be thinking of you Don. Have fun.
PS - Check out 90% of the paint at the show, swirl city man!

How was it Don?

We were thinking about heading over there afterwards but ended up carving the foothills.

Show was good, medium sized Sunday turn-out, lots of interest in HPR and RMVR.

I think today was to nice for an indoor show when you have MINIs to go carve the foothills. That would have been fun, too.

I will see if I got any good pictures. CM, your right lots of nice paint and not so nice paint.

Pictures, this is only a sampling of what was at the show.

I only saw part of one floor since I was working. This show covered two floors, most up on the main (2nd), where we were located.

A fast selection with some extremes. ALBUM
