Howdy Aggies!

Each year (at least in modern MINI times), MINIs and their owners from the HMMS and MM clubs have motored by caravans to Waco around Jan 1 for a delightful Italian lunch and each others' company.

This year the drive is being planned for Saturday, January 2nd. The Houston group usually heads up Hwy 6 and will be passing by Aggieland in midmorning. We would be delighted if you could join us! Although we motor up Hwy 6, we usually have a much more interesting route home!

There is a post by agranger on metroplexmini.org in one of the Houston area forums (I am not able to check which one from my office computer).

And I have started a thread on hmms.org to see who is interested in going.

If any of you would like to join us please post on one of these and we will start planning a rendezvous in earnest!

Somewhere on Hwy 6 would be perfect. We'll probably be ready for a pit stop by then, too!

Don't know who/how many will be coming yet, but we have had 8-10 MINIs in the past. We'll know more after our monthly meeting on the 5th.

The perfect place to meet is if you guys exit on University Drive. Once you do and take a left over the over pass, you will see home depot. its a big parking lot and we can get right back on the highway. (i actually live right behind that shopping center so +1 for convenience!)

What time do you think you will be here?

 

We will meet at 10:30 in the Home Depot parking lot leaving promptly at 11am. Bring money for lunch and walkie talkies!
