Post-Turkey Day Ride

After a long holiday with relatives, people trying to run you off the road at 2 A.M. on Friday morning, and more turkey than a human being's stomach is physically able to handle what is the perfect way to relieve all this stress?

The answer: Driving your MINI around downtown Denver with the most enthusiastic crew around of course!

We'll meet at Detailer's Paradise map on November 29th around noon, cruise the city for about an hour and then grab some food. What could be better?

More details to come.

Yes sir! This will be very necessary!
Thanks for the idea Joe and thanks for organizing it.
Count me and my 5 lbs of turkey weight in - as long as we don't eat turkey afterward.

Depending on how many people register for this we'll have 1-2 routes.

*Note*

For anyone who hasn't been to Detailer's Paradise. The enterance into the parking lot is very steep so take it slow to avoid scrapeage.

Our final destination will be Pasquini's which is just north of DP. We'll take a slight detour through the city and then have some lunch. Since Pasquini's doesn't open until 2 on Sundays we'll have to take our time.

Here's a link showing the route, the directions look kind of complicated but it's pretty much a big circle.

Who thinks there are no twisties in Denver? Make your own - now that's innovation!

See you tomorrow.

Fun time! I love it when I get in line ahead of RUDEBOX. She always has her camera running.

Also,

Thanks to Nick and Heather at Detailer's Paradise for the use of their parking lot.

It was definitely different and fun!

John Bowman from Fox 31 News also stopped by as they were looking for pictures of vanity plates to use in an upcoming story. He took a couple member's plate pictures so keep an eye out!

Good pizza at Pasquini's, GREAT garlic bread & calzones.

Here are just a few pictures from today....
