I was planning on being there but the weather is gonna suck all day long. And id rather eat indoors in the rain. I wonder if they got something planned since the BBQ may be a washout

Just think of it...you're at Starbucks...relax.

I went to the Prestige Tech Nite this past Wednesday and it was of the hook.

Manny showed up with "DA Works" and got people in awe of his car...and I got a Duffle Bag, T-Shirt, and a Stainless Steel MINI Coffee Cup...The spread for refreshments was excellent.

Manny and Prestige answered my questions.

Prestige is a M7 Authorized Dealer and Installer for NJ...I didn't know that...it means...I pay regular prices plus tax w/o shipping and handling charges...I can pay cash vice credit online...that I like.

I'm going to MOD the crap out of my PW/BLK MCS...I'm now INIMINI...JOS is WICKED...I don't know how she came up with that name for the Vert.

We will be running INIMINI and WICKED at Morristown on Sunday.

Vic, See you there.

Lorin

Lorin, you guys only used one car. You made it sound like you were driving the white one and Jos was driving the red one. ;P

So I just got back. The whole thing took 5hours 2min and 12seconds. Thats from the house to the house.

There were no T-Shirts or Hats which was disapointing for me big time b/c I missed out on the hat last year.

I did not enjoy that unpaved high tension wire service road. That was pretty hairy! These are MINIs not Landrovers! I got lost a few times as well. It would have been nice if the leader pulled over to the side of the road a few times to let people catch up.

On the bright side it was nice seeing Lorin, Jos, Shady, and Mr. Miller who organized the very entertaining Red Mill Car Show.

Does not sound like fun, spent the morning replacing my battery as I wanted a new one before the Winter kicked in it was starting the car fine but was only holding a 60% charge, cheaper to change it then get stuck and need a tow or try to get a jumpstart. Did an oil change, changed the wiper blades and re adjusted the wiper nozzles as they were not squirting high enough at highway speeds, think i am going to clay the car now as the Giants are getting there buts kicked. Steve lets do lunch this week, Mon Tue or Wed as I am gone from thursday on

Interesting..... Thought you said you didn't need one.

I got a nice big scratch on my passenger side door this past week. I'm going to need a good scratch and chip remover person in the spring!

My car was starting fine, but when I checked the cells they were under 60% charged, so I figured before i get stuck might as well get a fresh battery for the winter, more of a peace of mind and PM type of thing. I am not one to wait for something to go wrong i prefer to be a step ahead. All that is left now is to put the snows on for the winter, and that will be in a few weeks.

However I still have the other 3 cars to start to get ready for the cold months,

I have a guy who can do your chip repair for you, that is not a problem. He does excellant work and use to do all the Porsches for us when I worked at the shop. He will come to your house or job to do it. Dont laugh, his name is actually Chip. I also have a guy name Bruno (otherwise know as "The CUZZ") he does dings, and also will come to the house or job.

Steve, we will let you lead next time and then you can sweep after we go through EZ PASS...Dude get one.

Anytime I can take out a MINI and drive...is a good time...and I would have brought the other car out if our friends were not sick.

Steve:
The info on the detailer we discussed at the Morristown MINI's Motortober event yesterday is:
Detail Magic
Eric Skove
44 Foss Ave
Hampton, NJ
908-537-2922
He is in western Hunterdon county so could be a bit of a hike for you but he does great work (if it means anything he is the detailer for a large GM dealership in the area).
Best,
Richard Miller
