Finally got my MINI back, after 12 days of having a gas-eating Alero. I was suprised by how well she ran on the way home. I put the gas down, and she actually goes now. We had a fun drive around Phoenix on the way home. Maybe now I can finally make it up the hills on our road trips.

>>So I take it the fix worked then? Any ideas on how it's going to go down for the rest of us?
>>
>>BTW, congrats that your baby is happy and healthy now!

The dealership didn't really know when they are going to receive the software. They said it might be a couple of months before it "truly" comes out. The service advisor I worked with even stated that they don't agree with having the DME's shipped out to be reprogrammed. So I don't know how many more they plan on shipping out.

So what they did do in the end? Just clear all adaptive memory settings from your DME?

I don't know the exact specifics, I doubt they even know (the dealership). The sent the DME off to NJ, and it was there for four days. All I know is they uploaded the new software.

Yeah, I'm wondering how it will be in the summer. But I think my car hasn't ran this good the whole year I've had her. We're probably not going on the Monk run. We really don't like the idea of having to be all dressed up, and I don't want to go buy a skirt.

If you hide your hair, the monks can't grab it and drag your around caveman style.

Great news! Your car looks too good to be not running!
