I see there no thread for the 1st gen mini, or am i i wrong?

The threads for this are divided into what color your car is. They are sort of like fan club threads.

I believe the equivalent thread for the 2nd generation mini is better, it has all sorts in one thread, which is better for someone who wants to view all sorts as a pic gallery to have them all in one place!

There are several different threads. There is one a few pages back called "post the best looking mini to you" ... something like that. Its pretty good.
