Beltline trim: outmotoring vs. vinylstyles

Is there really a difference between the two? Besides the fact that one is less than half the price of the other?

u know.. I did mines with ELECTRICAL tape (the one that could withstand heat), and it's wide enough, so u dont have to trim it. and it looks BAD *** and still has not come off and matches the black rubb er parts perfectly.

however, you'll have to leave extra slack at the ends cus it does shrink about 1 cm on each side. ...

Can't compare - but I used Outmotoring and I am Happy.

Vinyl styles has an excellent reputation.

I used electrical tape! Works great! Except I didn't cut mine like his, I wrapped it around the inside of the door! Holds up great and matches perfect!

Just go out and buy a roll of 3M indoor/outdoor eletrical tape. It's around $5 a roll, and a roll has enough to do at least 3 or 4 cars. I matches perfectly and is pretty stretchy so it makes going around the tight corners a breeze. I did mine 3 weeks ago and I've had no problems so far except one corner came up where I didn't dry it good enough, but that was a quick fix.
