I´ll be picking up my new MCS at Ralph Schomp around Thanksgiving, and I´ll be driving it back to L.A. a few days later.

I´m planning on installing a few accesories, but I´m thinking that maybe I should have them installed by someone other than the dealer in hopes of maybe saving some money. I´d like to do this in the Denver area before driving back to L.A.
Do any of you know where I could have the following accesories installed in the Denver area at a lesser cost than the dealer? (I´ll be ordering the parts from Classic auto campus)

1. Driving lights.
2. White taillamps.
3. Boot/bonnet stripes.
4. Auxiliary gauges.
5. Black Aero grill.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not in Denver ... but am in North Colorado Springs. I've already swapped out my rear tail lights, it's a 30 minute job. Stop by and we can knock it out in a few minutes @ no charge. PM me and we can discuss time/location. A a matter of fact we can probably knock out most of your list with the exception of the stripes. Just let me know how I can help.

Cheers

Geoff

Hi Calvin,

Out of curiosity, where would you buy the driving lights and white taillamps other than through Ralph Schomp? Aftermarket pieces that are similar to the factory equipment?

Cheers,
Dan

Hey Dan-

I can answer that question. Classic Auto Campus is a MINI dealer that sells OEM factory parts by phone or email at a discount (usually of 20% or so). Definitely the best place to get factory stuff.

Geoff,
If you guys do meet up and you need help with the stripes let me know. They are pretty easy, I did the stripes on my car.

Bonnet Stripes:

Sign-A-Rama
6530 Wadsworth Blvd. #255 Arvada
(303) 420-8132

Sign-A-Rama in Arvada has done custom bonnet stripes on several MINIs (including mine). I'd highly recommend them. Talk to Eric.
