My New (And first) Cooper S

just picked it up today. I've been looking forever, and finally found the one. and it feels like the wait paid off. I love it so much.

though I hated the colour until I saw it up close, though it was a little girly. I think it's amazing now.

the 5 hour drive home was long, but so fun.

2005 Cooper S
49,000km

pay no attention to the winnibego in the background... it was at a rest stop on the highway.

Nice MINI. I was also a little uncertain about that color, but now I do kind of like it. It is a very unique color. Congrats

Electric blue is not a girly color. It's the best color.

It seems to change hue with the weather, and is truly stunning when washed and waxed.

None of the Mini Coopers are girly - they're just plainly awesome especially when detailed out - congratulations - you are now in the most amazing group of car owners anywhere!

Congratulations!!! I had to get rid of my silk green/white top as well. Just too girly and WAY too many "cute car" comments. Upgraded to the dark silver/black combo. Much more guy like for me.

I went classic with British Racing Green and white top and wheels. Girls usually either find it "cute" or they "love it", guys either find it "cool" or "awesome." I've gotten a couple "gay" comments or questions like "why a MINI?" Over the years my response has pretty much just come down to "I f*ckin love the car and its fun to drive." In all honesty, if your enjoying your car as much as I am, that's all that matters. Congrats!

It doesnt matter what color MINI you have. The fact of the matter is that you have a MINI and not a lot of other people do. The difference between us and them is that they buy a car just because, we buy a MINI for many reasons.

this is true. and I've been looking for months trying to find what I was looking for. after coming across a lot of duds, I'm finally here.
I don't really understand people who go to a car lot wanting a car, and walk away with something they got convinced into.

I get a lot of looks, there's nobody else in town with a Cooper S (it's a small town) but there is one other Cooper. I like the attention it draws to itself :P
