Considering getting new wheels and was looking at a set of rims that are 16x7 et35 and just wanted to confirm if it would work. I'm also looking to lower the car a bit (max 1.5 inches) - will that be okay?

 

Keep to a 195/55 or 205/50 and you should be just fine.

i have run 17 X 7.5, 18 X 8, and 17 X 8 all w/ et40. i run 5mm spacers up front, effectively making them et35. they all fit my car fine w/ 225/40/17's and 215/35/18's. my car is lowered about an inch and a half. camber will ultimately have an effect on how any wheel/tire combo will "fit". i run a lot of camber front and rear.

 

My SSR comps are 16x7 et35 with 205/45/16 tires. The car is lowered little over an inch around with Koni springs. No problems with rubbing.
