R50/53 what is the procedure for a tune up, plugs, filters on 2005 R56
Well if you have an '05 S it would be an R53. And all you really need for a "tune-up" is oil, oil filter, and maybe air filter depending on how dirty it is. OEM plugs with no other mods should last a few years, but you can pull them and check their condition.
Check with some of the vendors here for prices on filters or get the NAPA ones. Don't go cheap on the oil filter.

Thanks for the help. It is not an S. So I thought that would be a R56 perhaps It is just a 2005 Coupe 1.6 with 6 speed auto. I know about filters but the plugs need to be changed approaching 100000 miles, so is there any oem parts needed with the emmission controls etc.
That would be an R50 Cooper.
Just replace the plugs with OEM NGK's and all should be good. No other parts needed. Unless you want to get into fluids like the tranny, coolant, brakes and such. Which may not be a bad idea if they haven't been done in the last few years.
