Will 15" '06 MCS winter rims fit on '07 MC?

I have an opportunity to buy some 15" winter tires and rims at a great deal. The problem is that they are from an '06 MCS and I have an '07 MC. Can someone tell me if they will fit?
The specifics are:
Winter rims: 195 50 15
Current Tires: 195 40 17

My question, more specifically, is will the 15" rims fit over the '07 MC brakes and is the bolt hole configuration the same?

The 06 has 12mm lug bolts and the 07 should have 14. Thus you may have to enlarge the holes if they are small. If they are aftermarket, they are probably large enough... they are both 4x100 with similar offsets

Sounds like the tire may be a tad short too, but not terribly. Probably throw the speedo off some. I think its supposed to be a 60 sidewall.

Are the rims aftermarket? If so then the hole size could be too small depending on which rim. They can be drilled out to 14mm if needed. Bolt pattern is 4x100 and ok.

If the rims are MINI OEM rims then they should fit.

Brake caliper clearance should be OK as long as the 2007 MC has stock brakes. But to be sure you can ask for a test fitment if that would be possible otherwise it's a risk.

195/40-17 is too small for a MINI. The tire diameter is short at 23.2" and the load rating is only about 81 where 84 is the lowest you should use for a MINI. A small tire would increase wheel gap and lower the car quite a bit for less road debris clearance.

195/50-15 are also too small for the MINI. Tire diameter is small at 22.7" whereas stock is 24.3" and load rating is lower than stock at 81-82.
