Aloha, welcome to MCO and greetings from Hawaii.
To be more accurate I think we need a bit more info from you.
Do you plan to keep your current suspension from the MCS? This gives us a range of wheel offsets to choose from (generally from 37 to 48mm will work and minimize the chance for any rubbing of the tires on the wheelwells).
Do you have a preference on 16" or 17" diameter rims and in what widths. Lighter and cheaper usually is 16x6.5 or 16x7 and the tire selection of sizes is good. 17x7 and 17x7.5 is also possible but then the weights and costs go up.
Depends on whether you are trying for a certain look or you want your wheels to be lighter and faster on acceleration.
You need to think about budget- how much for everything- total cost? $1500 or less? $1500-2000? More?
You can sell your stock wheels or put snow tire on them for the winter and use your custom wheels for summer use or for track/autocross.
Think about what you want in tires? Smoother compliant and quiet ride? Harsher, firm but great cornering capabilities? Longer tread life, good traction in dry or wet? These will all affect the choice of tires and affect the overall price.
If you are not sure on these then talk to alex@tirerack.com and he can run down the basics but you should be thinking about options.
Otherwise I can show you alot of pictures of wheels in the $900 to $3000 range per rim that look good but not be quite what you were shopping for.

minihune-
im not really familar with the whole offset stuff..
but what i want are 17inch rims, and i do want to lower my mini so uh... if that helps can you give me a good idea on what kind of rim offset i should get to go with the 17inch rims i want to get and what type of tires to go along with the rims. for tires, i just want street tires, nothing hardcore or anything like that... just decent..
so yah if you can help me that'll be cool.
k thanks
