R50/53 My MCS vs a RSX-Type S...
..and we started at 40mph both in second gear.....neck and neck really....but then I got a few inches on him only b/c he had to shift before I did. He was nicely modded on the exterior (body kit, lowered, 18s)...but still only had 200 hp so no mods for him on his engine. I have the rogue intake and that's it right now.
I told him I have about 157 at the wheels (based on a dyno from rogue) and he was certainly surprised. He probably has 175-180 at the wheels wouldn't you say??
However, i feel like the RSX should be a slightly heavier car...anyway, I really did like what he did to his ride. One of the nicest RSX's I've seen frankly.

I'm not too suprised, I sorta beat a GTI last week. I say sorta because we were already doing 55 and he went by me at like 65 staring at me, so I sped up and passes him, he couldnt catch up till I stopped then he blew by me. I never went any faster than 80 and there were no other cars.
But back to the RSX. The RSX S has a whopping 122 lbft of torque and 168 hp at the wheels says Sport Compact Car and it's roughly 150lbs heavier than a MCS. The MCS has 142 tq and 166 hp at the wheels (again from Sport Compact Car). So I am not suprised at this at all. Plus the RSX S doesnt get all of it's power till the top of the range when VTEC kicks in.
The GTI has 179 tq and 171 hp at the wheels (SCC) and it's about 150lbs heavier. Plus our curves are smoother and the power is there earlier than the GTIs.

I love to mess with the ricers and the Acura RSX has been my new target since I broke my MCS. I've only had a chance to tangle with one and it was going onto on the Bayside bridge. He didn't have a chance. The MCS is a far superior highway machine, with or without the pulley. The time it takes the MCS to get from 40 something to 100+MPH still amazes me.
