Just out of curiosity, what can the dealer have show up on the mpg computer on the R53's (under the tachometer)?

For example, all that I have right now is current speed and temperature. Is it possible for the dealer to program it to show mpg and other things?

 

I don't know if the dealer can do it, but if the factory programmed the on board computer option you also got instantaneous mpg, average mpg and average speed.

 

i paid my dealer $60 to program the trip computer for me... now it shows inst. mpg, avg mpg, miles to empty, avg speed,
I think definately worth it; some dealers may even do it for free.
