Suspension Rear end "Clunk" after installing 22mm Rear Sway Bar
Rear end "Clunk" after installing 22mm Rear Sway Bar
Hey guys, I just finished installing an ALTA 22mm rear sway bar on my R53 and I'm noticing a pronouced "clunk" when going over bumps and putting pressure on the rear suspension. Any ideas what this could be? I tried adjusting the sway bar on all three adjustment points thinking it might be a clearance issue but its not that, nor is it a broken/bent endlink those are fine too. Any ideas?? Thanks!
Check to make sure the endlinks are tight.
Also check the 13mm bolts that hold the brackets on the swaybar bushings. Otherwise you shouldn't have any noise.
