Aux in the switch bank!

This is my first post...

Today I installed the aux port in my 05 MCSC. I have the H/K system and nav so i followed directions from GREATBEAR in this thread:

But instead of putting the port in the parcel shelf i decided to fill my switch bank! i went too fast to take pictures but it was really simple. i just used a dremel tool and made a hole for it, fits pretty flawlessly. i did need to route the aux cord around the circuit board in the back of the switch bank. all in all i think it looks great. it looks a little rough in the picture but it just needs some cleaning.

Very nice idea. Unfortunately I have the front and rear foglights so I can't put mine there! Ugh! I think I have to buy a parcel shelf and put my aux input there.

You could put the port right below the switch bank. The plastic part of the center console has a lot of room and would hold the port quite nicely. It would be hidden but quite accessible.
