Anyone have step-by-step w/pics of console removal in '08?

Would appreciate seeing any tutorials showing the steps, tools, etc to removal of the console between the seats, including brake/shifter, etc....

Thanks.

It's pretty easy actually. Pull up on the shift **** real hard to get it off the shaft. Unscrew the 2 torx in the front cupholders, and the one in the back cupholder. Squeeze the sides of the base of the ebrake and move the bottom of it underneath the console, instead of on top of it. Lift up on the bottom of the center console to release the clips. They sort of feel like they're breaking, but they aren't. Pull out the cigarette lighter plug by just pulling straight down. There are 2 pins on the Sport Button plug that need to be squeezed together before you can pull it out. Then everything is disconnected, just pull up and everything is off.

Hopefully that paragraph makes sense. It was tough for me to do it the first time but now I can do it in less than 5 minutes. If someone can word it better, please do!

What are you installing??

Good luck!

Wow, those directions are 1000x better than what I had to install the CravenSpeed well cover.
