Cheesy Saturday - Country Drive and Cheese Factory Tour

Cheesy Saturday Country Drive & Tour

Saturday, September 19, 2009 - Meet at 8:30 am; begins no later than 9 am
Location: Begins in Cedar Grove; Ends in Cedarburg

Do you enjoy motoring through the back roads of Wisconsin? The hills, fields, crops, farms? Join us for Cheesy Saturday - a 150 mile drive beginning in Cedar Grove along Wisconsin’s back roads with four fun stop at some of Wisconsin’s famous cheese factories, lunch at a historic custard stand complete with car hops and ending in the quaint village of Cedarburg.

As the state known worldwide as "America's Dairyland," it's no surprise that Wisconsin now has a reputation for producing more than 250 varieties, types and styles of the best-tasting, superior-quality cheese in the world. Come out and sample some of the finest!

Don’t be late – arrive at 8:30 am at CITGO, Cedar Grove, WI - Exit 113 on Highway I43 north of Milwaukee on Saturday, September 19th. Navigation directions will be provided. We will finish in Cedarburg, WI at approximately 3 pm.

OPTIONAL ITEMS TO BRING ALONG:
• SPARE CHANGE – There is no cost to participate, but you will want to bring along money if you would like to purchase any food items such as lunch.
• CAMERA – There will be plenty of photo opportunities, so be sure to bring a camera and say “CHEESE” before each snapshot.
• FRS Radios (Family Radio Service) set to Channel 7 Subchannel 21

Hey, thank you!! Mike and Phil, you guys did a GREAT job in setting this drive up. The route was a very fun drive and the stops were a pleasant break. I'm sure the work involved in setting the whole drive up was a lot more involved than most of us realize.
Thanks for a Great get together for all of us who love to hit the roads.
John S.
