Today my clear bra saved my front bumper. I was parked in front of my apartment and was walking by my car and noticed the car that was parked in front of me was gone. I gave my car a once over and saw what I thought was bird crap but upon closer inspection was two tears/blusters. Looks like the paint ubderneith is ok or at least better than it would of been. The other side of the bumper has some black scuff too. Apparently the person in front of me had no idea how to park. But the clear bra did itsjob. How do I prevent that area from peelingnow?

You'll have to have that piece replaced. That's terrible looking and you can't make it look any better other than replacing it.

Besides looking bad, if you leave it like that, dirt will get in under it constantly.

That portion shouldn't be too expensive to replace.

 

I hate city parking. From the few times I've had to do it, my rear bumper looks horrible now.

 

I was talking to a gallery owner in Carmel the other day. Her gallery has large windows facing the street. She said it was amazing how many people park by "feel." Some people just have no regard for anyone other than themselves.

 

I think i am going to invest in one of those bumper buddies for my rear bumper.
