I just got a Bra to protect on long road trips, I'm buying in Texas and driving to SoCal (1600mi). The instructions are very generic, not specific to MINI, and there are a lot of straps and rings and hooks. Anyone install one of these?

Thanks

Yes, once you see it you can start to feel what I imagine a 'lady' feels like when shes getting all "Victoria's Secreted" up...

Really though, the best thing to do is to let it sit out in the HOT sun for a couple hours to allow it to get soft and pliable. Once its stretchy, lay it on your hood with the hood opened a little bit. You will start to see how the straps kinda go under the hood and into the holes on the under side of the hood. It's kinda like a puzzle, and may pushing and pulling it a little, but it should settle fine.

I returned the bra and made my 1600 mile road trip naked. I found only one small chip in the bumper, no big deal. I was worried about so much highway driving cuz here in california it is like raining rocks and stuff on the highways but not so in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. I didn't even get hit with much at all, it was a little wierd.

I just know how to take them off. Actually, I think you wer better off giving it back. IMHO grit gets behind it and starts sanding off your paint. Besides if the car starts getting chipped over time, let the next guy worry about it. Enjoy it!
