M7 Springs Upgrade for 06 R53?

Hi gang. Sorta new to the forum. I attended 08 MOTD and had a great time but never actually been active on the fourm. My apology if I post in the wrong area.

I am thinking about doing the M7 spring upgrade, and would like any advice I can get. Such as, can I simply buy the springs and put them on, or will I need to purchase other suspension parts at the same time.

Also, should I get the Strut tower protection first, will the spring upgrade put me at a greater risk for mushrooming?

Im pretty sure that on the 05-06 mcs they worked out all the kinks on the mushrooming problem, so you should be ok on that however im not 100% on that one. If you lower the car you will probably need to get adjustable rear control arms on to fix your toe and camber, not to mention they are much stronger than the stockers. I think that as far as springs go thats all that you will need to do. Any reason in particular you decided to go with M7, just curious.

I was unable to align my car until i got the adjustable control arms in the rear, so youll prob want to get those at the same time or before so you dont eat up your tires.

I have the M7 springs They lower quite a bit so you will definitly need to install some lower control arms. Its good to have some sort of anti mushroom plate on the car, there are other kinds available too. The M7 USS makes for a very good chassis stiffning system also

fwiw, my stock shocks are pretty much toast after having the m7s on for a while. it's definitely to be expected, and something to keep in mind...
