Simple iPod hookup option for 04 (pre update) stock headunit?
I've tried searching, haven't found any specific information.
I do not have the MFSW. No need for fancy volume control or any sort of integration.
I want it to charge.
1. What is the cheapest/easiest option for hooking up an ipod to the stock headunit.
2. With my year/model will my head unit display the song/artist info?
3. Will i have to goto the dealer for any reflash?

What I did was add a power socket in the glove box. I already had the aux input in the glove box. So with a Belkin Auto Charger I could plug the charger into the power in the glovebox then a short 3.5mm audio cable from the charger to the aux in. This means I only have the docking cable coming out of the glove box to my Craven ipod mount.
