I was wondering what peoples' thoughts were on the best place to get performance and maintenance parts at? What places have the best selection and prices?

What is your definition of 'best'?

I can't begin to tell you anything about best ... but I can recommend that you go to MossMini.com and get on their catalog mailing list.

MOSS may not be the best but they do have a pretty good selection and it is fun to get their paper every few weeks. Most of what they have is available from many vendors. DITTO: MINIMANIA.com is another good place for some computer browsing but to the best of my knowledge they don't have a paper catalog. And it is SO hard to carry the laptop into the reading room

 

For maintenance and OEM parts, I would recommend morristownmini.com for the best price. I buy from them often and they have good internet service.

 

For performance after market parts, if you are looking for best price, well, shop around. I did, buying from quite a few vendors in the beginning only to realise that some vendors only sell and have little after sales service.

I now only buy aftermarket parts such as brakes, rotors, suspension parts etc from Dustin at autoxcooper.com. A+ in customer service and knowledge.
