Back from WI road trip

Put on about 500 miles with new Mini this weekend with wife, 7y/o and stuff for inline race jammed into Mini. Actually there was room for more stuff, and I have yet to resort to needed the cargo box, but that option exists.

Stopped at a place called Ed and Andys in Fond Da Lac (see pics) this is a cool road trip destination that we hit on accident by exploring. Its like the burger joints in the 50's where food is served by roller skating servers...cool.

Also went to Holy Hill wheer there a many nice roads, we've explored some in the past on our motorcycles.

In any case, Mini drove and performed how expected...except

continued, with pics

Hit wrong button...

issues on trip....

Too much traffic in Illinois, Illinois driving is the worst, roads are never done being worked on and people drive like real jerks

-had to have a stick driving lesson with wife, who knows how to drive stick, just missed some of the nuances.

--Hate the radio, I'm going to have to do something about it?

--- Ordered the glove box organizer so stuff does'nt fall out of glove box

----Actually let wife and daughter eat in car...usually not allowed with our new cars.

Andy and Ed's has been listed as one of the top ten drive ins in the nation.

Only thing is it's in Oshkosh, not Fond du Lac. I live in Fond du Lac; it's up the road on 45 on the southern edge of Oshkosh.

There are some great roads around here. Hope you made it to Elkhart lake and Road America!
