Tire Pressure - 215/35/18

Hi everyone,

I am running 215/35/18 BFG g-force T/A KDW 2 tires on my 03' MCS currently. They are my first pair of non-runflat tires on the MCS and I have been VERY satisfied with the switch-over! The ride and handling has drastically improved!

Anyway, I have a question regarding the tire pressures and if anyone has any recommendations it would be highly appreciated. I know tire pressures are based on the weight on of the car and not on the tire size and the recommended psi is 34-37 psi. I have been running 34 psi all around, however, one of my tires went a bit low today and I started to think (which could be scary a thing ) about varying the pressures in the tires. If anyone has any recommendations on combinations you have found to be "perfect", it would be highly appreciated. (I typically only have one other passenger in the MINI and do a lot of spirited runs on twisty roads).

And since I am starting another thread, I may as well ask (although it has been answered previously), I am curious as to what "kits" the other MINIacs out there are carrying for a flat (for those that have made the switch to non-runflat tires).

Thanks,

Bill

I'd run 35 PSI - based on tire's load bearing capacity. Start there, and montor your tread depth carefully and adjust accoringly.
