Who is PostRelease making sticky spams?
How the heck did someone join yesterday(edit- correction joined a year ago yesterday and spammed back then) and manage to spam the forums with a stero/nav unit that doesn't work in our cars. How was each one stickied?
This doesn't seem normal or correct.

Internet Brands (owner of NAM) sells advertising space that appears as sticky posts. Look at the bottom of those posts. A lot of veiled doublespeak there!
This PostRelease® is part of an advertiser-supported program that sponsors North American Motoring. This program delivers relevant news and announcements as posts within the North American Motoring forum.
ahh that explains it. Never seen a vendor get an advantage of being able to spam several forums with irrelevant sticky threads.
I've also never seen such advertisements on any other forum i frequent.

How does it work? The powerful PostRelease search tool allows you to use keywords to search forum categories for relevant discussions, create your post, and then automatically insert your message in your selected forums.

Where will my PostRelease appear? ... and for how long?
Answer:
PostReleases are “sticky” and remain at the top of forums for one week. After 7 days, your PostRelease is archived and searchable by future forum users and major search engines. Your PostRelease message is “evergreen” – reaching consumers for the life of the selected forum.
This seems to sort it all out.
That explains why that Subaru ad mocking the MINI was at the top of the page a couple of months ago...
