Hi, i m from Hong Kong. Just fitted the Ragazzon downpipe on my 2007 MCS Automatic. Yes, huge performance gains and love it but CEL after 500km happy runs ! What should i do now ? Will this affect my engine performance ? Or can i just leave the engine warning light there ? Do i need to change bk the original downpipe with cat ? Thanks.

 

If you're decatted it's normal. Some people have driven their R56 without CELs with your setup, but with the decat version you are more than likely to get a CEL. I have an Alta downpipe that trips my light all the time and that's pretty much all it does... trip a light. I don't think the ECU is adjusting air/fuel ratios and if it is, I'm not feeling a difference between when I reset the CEL and when it's back on again. I say keep the downpipe on. It's a pain installing it and then having to remove it

i Have the cated one and i throw a cell if i dont let it warm up. its just a light not performance loss
