I was in Woodland Hills Ca. a few weeks ago and drove past a shopping center parking lot quickly filling up with all sorts of exotic cars. Super fast super cars, old roadsters, and LOTS of Minis. This one caught my eye. Gets you thinking doesn't it.

 

Now that to me is cool.. much better then lambo doors.. that would be cool to see you do this!

Nah, that seems like it would actually be more annoying to get into the car, seeing as the door is designed to function the complete opposite way, as in ergonomics, and ease of use. There are other ways to mod, and be unique, thats not one.

Haha that is hilariously awesome! I love mods like that. That must have taken a ton of work though, I can't even begin to think about the work involved to make that system function properly. Also, where are the door handles located? Do they still lock and everything? Some great ingenuity had to be present in order to make this thing work!

 

IIRC, that MINI belongs to a NAM poster and he bought that MINI used, had those doors custom made, and spent $12,000 to have it re-painted.

Same MINI, or am I getting it confused with another ?
