R56 Cooper Works WC50
British Racing Green with White Roof is quintessentially British and John Cooper Mini as well, like crumpets and tea or warm ale.

Confirmed: 50 to come stateside. MSRP just a tick over the $40k mark. Any takers?

I am taking one.
I put a deposit down the day it went public from MINI United. Depending on the delivery day in April It will be up to 1 year from my deposit. I have waited up to 8 months before for a car. This has been just a bit longer but more unknown if it would ever come. The reality of it coming to delivery should be just a few weeks.
From what I have seen all 50 are already spoken for my dealers. Now perhaps they are just taking what they can get so they can up charge. Mine will be at sticker.

WOW... I'd love to get my hands on that. $40k is a lot to pay for a car, but this one is definitely unique, especialy with only 50 coming to the US! I'd have to keep it as a collectors item.
Sure is purdy!

here in my country, after ALL taxes & converted to our currency, $40,000 will get you a base R56 Justa
and from what i heard, the MINI dealership here will be selling the WC50 at around $111,000
so if we were to move to there & get the WC50, it'll be considered a bargain

Congrats!
It's a great-looking car and actually a good deal relative to "regular" highly-optioned JCW's.
Keep us updated, please

Did anyone complete a sale for a WC50 with the 1.9 percent financing? I got the 1.9 locked in but now mine is due at the dock this week and my MA says "the head of Mini Financial" tells him 1.9 does not apply to the WC50.
WOW
I saw this at Habberstad Mini yesterday. I immediately fell in love....and I hate white roofs. It looks perfect. I'm so picky and honestly don't like a lot of the stripes and general getup of most Minis but this car was spectacular. I was actually going to start a thread asking what the hell it was. What does the number on the side stand for? I love the signature in the stripe. I'm telling you this car is the **** in person.
The one they had on the lot was 41k but with no NAV which is a must for me.
Also in regards to the wheel gap, the one at the dealer had next to no gap.
