How many MINI Es in service?

While I wait for the call to pick up my Mini E, I wonder how many have been delivered. As of June 11, I would guess 25 on the West coast and maybe 5 on the East Coast?

Anybody have a better estimate?

Why not just call Richard Steinberg Head of Product at MINI NJ and ask him. It wouldn't be a secret.

#183 is on the road.

My guess is it's over 100.

Congratulations Peder! Looks like you are have a great time with the car already.

A quick question - was your car delivered with a nearly full charge? I know most dealers don't have a functioning fast charger yet, and I will have a 70 mile drive, mostly uphill (Cajon Pass), from my dealer to home. I'm a little worried about making it home if I start with less than a 100% charge!

Greg, according to today's "Plugged In" newsletter, approximately 50 cars have been delivered. Like Peder, I would have guessed more.

I picked up mine today in Morristown NJ and was told I was about #10 at that dealership... and they will be doing 60. I'm #486.

Sore eyes.

Mine was delivered with 85% SOC, I drove 60 miles at 70 to 75mph and had 25% left.

I now have about 400 miles on the car of mixed driving.

I would estimate that the range is 1 mile per % of charge. You can make that higher if you go slower and is mixed city highway driving.

If it's close, say 85% SOC and 85 miles to home, I would keep it to 65 and you will be fine.

Cheers
Peder

And, I would ask them to top it off to 100% no harm in that and then you won't need to fret on the way home.

The car is blast! Good luck!
