I officially made the purchase a couple days ago. I also drive a 06 WRX, which I thought was the coolest car to drive. Oh man was I mistaken. Yes, I do like the all wheel drive that comes with the WRX, but everything mini makes up for it. I got the JCW Mini 08 up in Grand Rapids at Prestige Imports. I like that place, they also had the Nissan GTR sitting inside... (thats another day when I strike rich somehow). The salesman took me out to the garage to show me the mini, and sure enough I made my decision about it even before i looked inside. I wanted it, and was going to do what it took to drive away in it. Pretty soon I was driving back home to South Bend, IN. in my new car. I LOVE it. I like this forum too, so I had to tell my story and join the mini club. Hi all!

You are keeping both? If so, you can enjoy two good worlds of driving.

Almost every single one of my friends drives a Subaru, especially WRX's. I'm glad to finally find a Subaru fan that also loves MINIs.

Yeah I think I am keeping both for now. I will have to take more pictures. Been trapped inside the house due to allergies and asthma so I haven't been getting out much to take some pictures.

Not going to lie though I do like the suby, but the mini is just awesome. They drive totally different, which makes it fun!

It looks like it. The factory JCWs don't get the 'Cooper S' badging anymore. To the OP, I hope you didn't pay for the car at Factory JCW price, but rather Cooper S with JCW Tuning Kit price.

 

Congrats, I'm also a fan of the last gen WRX. While I love the JCW aero kit, I don't know about the Crown Spokes in Silver. Planning to swap wheels?

 

It has the cooper s badge on the back. It would just be a MCS not a JCW if it just has the bumpers, lol.

 

I didnt pay the factory price thank goodness haha got a pretty good deal on it used. And yeah, I wish I had the badges...

 

I probably will swap out later on down the road. I am broke now!! haha
