TSW + 215/45/17 rub?

I need a new set of tires for my 06mcs, thinking to switch from the stock 205/45/17 to 215/45/17. Does anyone have the TSW springs (w/stock shock)with this set up? I just want to make sure the tire won't rub. thank you all for your this great site.

I have been running that combo with different rims (40 offset vs 50 stock). No rubbing...
Go ahead and switch to the 215's and enjoy the new ride.

Happy Motoring,

I'm running that combo with OEM 5-star bullets (R91) with no issues. And mine is on a cabrio, which sits lower in the rear, and I have driven loaded with 700 pounds of passengers and gear. The TSW springs are such a minor drop, it's a non-issue.

thank you guys!
I just got my new 215/45/17 put on today and I have already fell in love with the ride comfort, it is much much better than the OEM run flat. I will need to wait for few hundred miles to find out if I like the handling too.
thank u guys again for the infor.

You won't be rubbing with TSW springs. I am on coilovers with the same tire size and rub crazy front and back. My front tire actually scrapes the inside on the hood, however, I am slammed. = )
