I'm happy to tell you our Turbo system for the Mini Cooper is finaly done. This unit will use the best Turbo available
the garrett GT 15 ball bearing turbo. super fast spoolup with very little or no lag. we decided to keep the boost/Hp level fairly conservative at 165hp. The unit will be CARB approved allowing California Mini owners to enjoy some fun to. The kit will include all the necessary braided steel hoses and aluminum piping, Silicone couplers and electronics. There will be an uppgrade path available with an intercooler (water-air) BOV's etc. to acheive higher boost level and safer operations. I will show and give test drives on Sunday at the Long Beach Poker Rally for anyone who is interested. We will also have our Nitrous car available for test drives. The turbo system will be available from Mini Mania for world wide distribution.

Congratulations! I'm sure the MC guys can't wait. I also hit reply to see how to post a photo as I've never done so here (MCO). But, it appears that you need to hit the "IMAGE" button, but you need to have the photo(s) posted on the web though as it ask for the url. I'm sure that there must be another way though...

Some lucky Cooper owners are going to have a blast keeping up with or smoking the MCS's out there.

I've been paying close attention to the products M7 is developing and everything I have seen looks to be top notch.

Great to see that M7 is now a MCO vendor/sponsor!

M7 has actually had access to the Vendor Announcements area since mid-September. As Peter has been busy working on products we haven't gotten the graphics yet for the a true "launch" on the site. I hope to have everything sometime next week and we'll get them launched. I think we'll see some interesting mods coming out of M7 in the months to come.

So, I'm assuming we're still in prototype phase at this point in time. What are we looking at as far as retail availability on this product? I was assuming by the previous thread about this system that it would be available soon-ish...and what are we looking at for price? and install time?
