Let me say again...Angeles Crest Highway is open!!
This is awesome....can't wait to charge the corners!!

a section got washed out during a storm. already saw some fresh skids.

i prefer GRR over ACH

A 10 mile "closed" section(since 2005?) prevented it from being a fully open road,just west of Wrightwood(17 landslide damaged sections).Now,coming from Vegas on the I-15....a heluva entertaining option to L.A freeways enroute to Pacific coast.

Don't know if Angels Crest out does the Dragon? The Dragon is more of a combination of GMR and AC but a very well kept and maintained road. At the Dragon 4th gear is rare occurance, prtetty common at AC. I do love AC.

...it "out does" it when one is 200 miles away from my front door and the other(the dragon)is 1700 miles away!

GRR=glendora ridge road
GMR=glendora mountain road
....south side of angeles range,just above Glendora/Claremont Cali.

Last time I drove it was 2006 and it was completely open then so dates might be off

Was in Ontario for like 4 months, and went to GMR like 3-4 times a week at about 10-11pm. Occasionally, AC too.
