I'll be at the Glen for the DP race so I won't be able to make this one. R56 owners.... here's the opportunity to get the tune you've been waiting for.

Have fun at the race. Wish I could be there, but I have to help out at Ekstens. Did you signup yet for Blue Grass in July?

Any special things needed for the R56 guys to check before they come in?

Would love to see any dyno results from the R56 tunes and the numbers for the R53s.

Should be a busy day for you folks.

dwp, at what stage of runs in this dyno graph. Is it the final run after tuning? Also, is the dyno a rolling wheel dyno or a dyno clamping to the wheel studs?

Interesting numbers. Thanks for posting.

Don

Land and Sea dyno. Roller
The other R56 didn't show. Rest of the day was spent on R53's.

+20 +25 is great.

Thanks for the info. on the dyno, I'm building a mental picture of what dynos report high and which ones report low.

But if the gains seen are like the above, it does not matter what numbers get reported, it is the actual spread that counts.

obviously i only have one mod so far and i did that because now the car sounds like it should (to me that is)

feel free to correct me but i'm thinking for the money no bolt-on mod would even come close to those gains - for me it was money well spent

next up would be a larger intercooler (jan's recommendation) and if i can find one, a jcw stage 1 intake (non-factory)
