Name that pad
Name that pad
I bought a PC bundle from Detailers Paradise a while back. I just pulled it out for some spring cleaning on the car, and found one pad that was still in its bag. It is white, screws directly into the PC and feels pretty dense. I assume it is the pad that comes with the PC, rather than being part of the PC bundle.
Can anyone tell me the best use for this pad, or which color in the DP bundle it most closely approximates?
Thanks,
Phil

It is the pad that comes with the PC. It is dense, but not that abrasive. I'd say it's similar to the regular DP white pad, just a little more firm. I use it with MF bonnets, but I know people here have also used it just like they would a regular white pad.
Porter Cable provides a screw-in polishing pad with the 7336SP model of the polisher. So, it's actually not part of our pad bundle- just a bonus pad from Porter Cable.
It can be used in the same way as our own Lake Country white pad. It not quite as convenient as the hook and loop (aka Velcro) pad system but it can come in quite handy in a pinch.

Thanks, Heather. It is clean and new, and that is handy all by itself! I b ought the PC, pads and polish from you all at once, so I thought of them as a bundle, even if the PC is properly thought of separately.
