Wilwood Brakes

Is there anyone out there that has the factory R98 wheels on a Set of 12.2 Inch brake kit.
Or knows if this is possible. What im looking for is the back spacing...
Hopefully someone can help.

If you know the offset and wheel width you should be able to calculate the back space, yes?

Which Wilwood Kit...meaning which caliper? DynaPro?

I dont know the width or the backspacing im gonna go check on MotoringAlliance.

Assuming you have one of these R98 wheels, you can easily measure it up per the wheel clearance diagram included in the PDF that Todd provided.

I have them on my car, I would like to keep the stock wheels for as long as possible
Yes i know he sent me the diagram, However im unsure as to if its in inches or cm...
Im guessing Inches?
Though i may have them on my car im a total noom as to how to check for this.
Im thinking about a way to do it and seem to be lacking?

LOL, it's in inches & millimeters. You might want to ask the shop you plan on using for the install, to check the wheels for fitment.

If the R98's are 17'' and 48et as i suspect, they'll work fine. I have 17''R90's(48et) on my Wilwood 12.20 set up with the DynaPro caliper with no spacer needed.

When you say ''won't fit'' what does that mean, wheel rubs cailper or.....? If so,just add a 5mm spacer. The BBK,Dynapro caliper?Wheels are 17'' aren't they,as on my install instructions say 12.2 rotor must use 17'' wheel. This project is really not that hard if you have all the necessary info.Wheel size and et,rotor dia and Caliper to be used. Also,i guess you figured out you need to eliminate the ''backing plate''after you remove oem rotor.Let me know if i can help,i've done it several times.

If the 13" kit fits behind my R99's without a spacer, than I'm sure you can get them to fit behind the R98s with a 5mm spacer...you aren't trying hard enough.

Nope it needs something along the lines of a ten mill spacer Rustyboy155 and i checked it out.
I would rather just be paitent and buy aftermarket wheels and get rid of these boat anchors.

FWIW, I put up a one time special offer on a Silver 12.2" DP kit. Standard factory kit with some extras included as part of the deal. If you know anyone looking for a bargain:

$850 to your door.

No longer have the DP silver kit. For silver I have only a larger 13" FSL kit.

For the smaller 12.2 kits...I do have a blue package.

Just put on this very kit and my R98s work with a 5mm spacer.
