DP Site is Down: Alternate Ordering Options

UPDATE (as of 6/8):

We're back!

The new and improved Detailers Paradise website is up and running. There are a few issues we're working out (i.e., we can't get it to load bundles yet) but overall things are working well. It is easy to order and we think you'll like the new look. I'm going to start a new thread with more details but also wanted to update this thread.HUGE thanks again to everyone for their support and patience! -Heather

P.S. Bundles are still available through our Amazon.com storefront until we get them to load on the new DP website.

Original post:
Hi all,

I'm very sorry to say that our website is currently down (and therefore so is our DP email). The real kicker is that our developer is MIA and has been for a couple of weeks.

So I ask for your patience as we figure out how to get up and running again!

In the meantime though, we have several other ordering options for you:
  1. Order by phone: 1-800-405-9970. Please leave a message if we don't answer and we'll call you right back. If we don't answer we're on the other line with another customer (remember, we're not very big and don't have a staff of phone answerers!). Also, please leave your phone number slowly and clearly.
  2. Order most Prima products and most Prima/Paradise Microfiber from Amazon.com. (we also offer a few other of our products, such as pads there as well) Here is a direct link to our Detailers Paradise area on Amazon: Click HERE. Click the link to find out the discounted pricing. We've just added these discounts as a thanks-in-advance for your patience with our regular website being down (and as an incentive to use Amazon so we'll be able manage any phone orders in a timely manner).
  3. Order Prima products from any of our other Prima retailers. For a complete list, visit our Prima website at: www.PrimaCarCare.com then click on Where to Buy. We have several Prima retailers available to you worldwide, including a few NAM vendors (Detailing 101's own OctaneGuy at ShowCarDetailing, as well as Alta Performance).
Finally, please note that we do not have access to email right now either. So please use the NAM PM system to contact us. I am a few PMs behind right now so please be patient as I get through them and get to yours! I will be working through them within the hour.

Thank you in advance for your patience! We're so sorry about the inconvenience! I'll keep you posted on this thread when our regular site and email is back up again.

-Heather

Please see my update in the original post... unfortunately, the site is up for browsing but we're still having issues when you try to place an order. PLUS, although we can receive emails we cannot send any out.

We're so sorry about this guys! Please bear with us and feel free to direct any questions you have to the NAM PM system in the meantime.

Thanks!!

Sorry you're having technical issues, Heather. As much as I rely on them, I have a sign in my office that reads 'Computers Suck!' Sounds like you could use a copy.

On a brighter note, I got my package a few days ago and am having fun with my new products. May have some questions for you at some point. But so far, so good. Very pleased with the results!

I also noticed that you're on Facebook. Just wanted you to know that you now have your first "official" fan... Me.

Hope you're back firing on all cylinders soon...

Take care,
Markfm

Yes, I could use your sign! Actually, although the computer is the core cause of all of this, I could also use a sign regarding our developer at this point too!

Although we have finally located him, he is working another job on-site and says he can't help us with our website except in the evenings when he gets home from this other job. THEN, he doesn't appear to do anything in the evenings either. We are working hard to have the entire site completely redesigned by someone else and then move it to a new hosting company altogether.

Anyway, enjoy your products and please do let me know if you have any questions (PM or phone for now). Thanks for being our first official FB fan too!

Happy Detailing!!

Good to know, Heather... tried to place an order this morning and an alert came up on my credit card.

Glad to know my credit card number wasn't stolen and someone charged up to my limit.

Get the computer going soon... we NEEEEEEEEEEED your website.

Egads! Yes, that would've been scary for me too! Don't worry though... it's just this stupid website problem we're having and not your card.

Give us a call to place the order or if you plan on buying Mystique, BG or Epic go to the Amazon site where we have them discounted.

Sorry again for the hassle!

That's great to know. Thanks!

We're already underway with another company and so far it's smooth-sailing. (if only we could get it going faster though!) If it goes south with this company, I'll definitely contact you.

Thanks again for the offer!

I put this up top for now, as soon as it's fixed let me know so we can pull it and avoid confusion. I know how annoying technical issues are hope it's all sorted out real soon.

Thanks!

This will really help keep everyone in the loop so no one is frustrated if they try to order directly from the site.

I'll let you know as soon as we're working again. Thanks again!

Heather,
Have you seen my PM of last week regarding my latest order ? I passed my order on your website merely hours prior to your website going down. I'd like to know if you actually have received it ?

Simple! I ordered everything that was marked "out of stock"

Thanks for the reply. I hope things are progressing positively for your website.

Believe it or not, our developer (who says he's been working on it day and night) has not yet been able to find the problem. So, very unfortunately, we are still down.

The good news is that we now have email again though!

Having the site down really stinks though... especially for a small business like we are. This is financially crippling, as you can probably imagine.

In the meantime, we've been working with a new company to design an entirely new website for us. Of course, that is taking longer than we would hope (although not unreasonably longer... just longer than instanteously, which is what would be ideal of course!).

Thanks for checking in! I'll let you know the minute we're up and running again.

Oh, and I'm adding more and more of our products and bundles to our Amazon Storefront each day too. I hope to get the Starter Bundles up later today and I plan on putting one of them on sale.

Looks like it's not possible to ship to Japan when ordering from your amazon storefront.

Christopher-Nick here. Shoot me an email and I'll take care of it. I have all your info. All I need to know are your desired products.

BTW, we are going through site training today and loading content until way into dark tonight. We are so very close.

Alternatively and just as FYI, I just added Asia to the available ship-to destinations in Amazon. The only potential drawback to going through Amazon for international orders is that we have to use shipping charges based on order total... this may be higher than what we would charge doing an order via email (where we charge you the exact shipping charge that we are charged by USPS). Still, I thought I'd add Asia anyway in case it's more convenient to order that way.

I just ordered the "Super Bundle" from your Amazon storefront so I'll be ready when my Clubman S arrives in 2-3 weeks. I'm not excited or anything.

Wool Wash Mitt?

Is there any chance we will see the 100% Natural Wool Wash Mitt added to the Amazon storefront?

Thanks!
