Will this fit INSIDE my MINI?

I've decided to go back to OEM exhaust for a few months...currently running Magnaflow.

Anyhow, I need to transport the OEM exhaust and I only have my MINI to do so...

I was wondering if the entire OEM exhaust will fit inside Schultze...I'm willing to remove the front passenger seat & rear seatbacks if needed. I was thinking about putting the muffler in the passenger footwell and then wrapping the cat to prevent any damage to the interior rear or headliner.

Thoughts & input are desperately needed!

PS: Is there a way to separate the exhaust system into a more easily-transportable configuration?

Thanks in advance!

With the front pass seat and back seats out of the MINI I bet you can make it work or you can cut the OEM system into two parts, but if it's every needed again you'd need a good pipe joint to make sure there's no leaks.

If the OEM needs to be cut...where would be the "best" section to make the cut?

Do you know if the pipe behind the cat attaches to the cat via nut/bolt/gasket/clamp or if it's welded?

Thanks!

the pipe bolts to the cat and I'd cut the part that sits right under the back seat, it's a nice straight part of the pipe

Just so you know I just got my exhaust swapped out about a week ago and I cant get the OEM exhaust out of the shop lol. They're holding it for me until I can get my hands on a bigger vehicle to transport it.

Thanks for all of the responses...I truly appreciate them!

The decision has been made to use the Ford Escape as a method of transport...

Too bad, I was looking forward to pics of this adventure. I would have suggested putting down the rear seats, folding the passenger seat back down flat and sticking part of the exhaust out the front passenger window.

Why dont you do what I do when I have to transport items that are too long for the car (can you say 'Home Depot,' boys and girls? I knew you could!)? Open the right side window, pad the sill, or wrap the item, and stick it out the window?

Sort of have a similar situation to the OP. I recently ordered a front Aero bumper and don't know if I can fit it in the mini to bring it home from the dealer. Anyone fit a front bumper in their mini before?
