Living with my R57, a Q

Nearly a week in and very few niggles - I love 'Ronin' (little seal)!

Hand washed Ronin last night - the first time is always special.
Windows now tinted 20% - looking good.

Went to pickup my dry cleaning today and was stumped - no hooks anywhere.
What do you do?

I had the same problem when I had to pick up a few suits and dresses from the dry cleaners. Wife had the answer. Take the SUV next time

Let's just say I left the stuff at the dry cleaner, went home, grabbed the SUV, went back and picked up the dry cleaning.

I did prove her wrong with the most recent Costco run. I had managed to pack the boot full, and I mean completely full with stuff from Costco. She thought I was insane, and I said, if there's a will, there is a way.

You'll be amazed how much you can actually fit in the boot when you really need to get it all in there.

So, here's my small complaint. The first gen convertible unlocked the doors when the car was parked and engine turned off. I can't get Simone to do the same. Any suggestions? Also, where did you get your windows tinted?

Unfortunately that feature is not in the 09 convertible. You cannot set the Mini to auto unlock after it has been turned off.

We're taking Ronin to IKEA today, so that could be interesting...

I did a Sam's Club-Home Depot-Staples run yesterday with my '06 cabrio, and ended up needing to use the seatbelt on both a bag of stuff and a pack of paper towels in the back seat. 72 and sunny - there was NO WAY I was putting the top up! Everything stayed put; even on the interstate doing 75.

i kind of like being a samurai behind the wheel of my 09 mcs--hence my avatar--respelling of banzai

Ronin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A ronin was a samurai with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the ruin or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege.

Now that's one shopping list.

On a slightly different topic, the pic in your signature has really awesome looking blue seats, almost the same as your exterior color? From he factory or was that an aftermarket addition, or was that photoshop'ed?

I think if you have the wind deflector and not loadz of dry cleaning, put the roof down put the wind deflector down lay the cloths flat across it and put the roof back up. Job done.
