Blackout Phase I
Blackout Phase I
Love the Plasti-dip spray, started with the antenna, next was the boot handle, did not remove, just took out the torx screws and pulled out enough to mask behind and around the handle.

I had added the Aero grill last year, but never got around to doing anything about the bottom grill -- removing the bumper cover was easier than I thought and pieces took the plastidip well.

next phase will be headlight rings and door handles from Aesthetic Creations - I have the boot emblem on order.

Stealth would be a stock MC non-S with a turbo motor under the hood and 15" holies on it.
Atomic: Thanks for the link! I might have to place an order that is really cool looking!

The reason I refer to pure silver and black minis as stealth cars is because they actually don't seem to attract as much attention on the road as other colors. I was standing outside a starbucks talking to another MINI owner once with our cars parked side by side and this couple walked by and were just melting into puddles over the chili red. They did a double take when they saw my PS/B and then said, "Is that a MINI too?"
I think people (in general, not MINI owners, obviously) have a certain expectation that MINIs will be bright colors that attract a lot of attention, and if you're driving a black or a silver... people don't notice the car nearly as much as they would if it were any other color.
Oh well, to each their own. I love stealth MINIs. They are made of win.
