The mosquito net sunscreen on my 2007 doesn't stay closed on the front or back. Even when it is "closed", I still see a gap. Does anybody else have these problems? Has anybody addressed this issue to MINI?
I wish it closed like my friend's 2003 MINI, which latches shut.

 

That has been a known problem since the 2007's were first introduced. The "Solutions" that I recall reading about were not 100% effective.

In some cases the entire headliner was removed, and the sunscreen replaced. Still not 100% effective, and the headliner may not fit quite right when replaced.

Maybe your dealer will help. Is your warranty still active?

I have a Sept build 09 S and the screens fit perfect. Yet I can tell the driver's screen is less dense than that on my 2005.

I have a December, '09 build and mine does not fit in tightly to the front. I see a small gap. It'll go on my list of things whenever I get around to bringing it into the dealer.
